Tai Ji and Qi Gong- Chinese Medical exercises

Ihsan Dal Din is a member of the British Acupuncure Council. He has a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and a Diploma in Qigong Tuina, Chinese Massage. Ihsan has studied Tai Ji and Qi Gong since 1987.
Ihsan practises classical Acupuncture, based on classical texts.
Ihsan's training was routed in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) but uses channel theory, classical five elements, and qi gong theory (based on experiential palpation of qi).

Diagnosis is made using questions, observation and palpation.
Questionning gives the medical history, background and specifics to a client's condition, and offers the client an opportunity to tell his/her story.
Observation refers to colouration in the skin, around the affected area, and also in the face. It also refers to the sound of the voice, and other sounds in the body, the demeanour, character(istics), and how they change through the telling of the story or over the course of treatments.
It also refers to tongue diagnosis
Palpation can include pulse taking and abdomen palpation, but also means feeling the qi in the client's body. This is particularly around the area of concern and also generally. Qigong Tuina is a very soft but deep form of massage that requires tuning-in to a person's qi. The palpation of qi can be along meridians, in the abdomen (hara diagnosis), or where there is a blockage or build-up of qi.

The first session takes about 1.5 hours. 40 minutes for case taking and 40 minutes for treatment.  Price  £60
Subsequent treatments take c.1 hour.  Price  £40
